Books are always an excellent resource, whether you would like to give them as gifts or whether you are looking for projects and techniques to try your hands on yourself. You may find some books on Polymer Clay in your public library. The book I recommend most for beginners is “The New Clay” by Nan Roche. It was the first comprehensive book published on the subject. A “sequel”, “The New Clay II”, is scheduled to be published soon. Borders Bookstore has a great selection of books on Polymer Clay.
If you’d rather shop online for books and magazines related to Polymer Clay, take a look at the selection of Lisa Clarke of Clarke’s World/Polka Dot Creations. She also offers a nice variety of instructional videos on Polymer Clay.
